Ans : Almost equal to the number which was invented by Ramanuja 😉
Have we ever thought the importance of time ? If not here it is – A person meets with an accident and he is bleeding on the road.. most of us see that in our day to day affairs while riding our bikes or cars… We see people surrounding the person who is critically hurt and no body takes the initiative of admitting him to the hospital, or atleast calling the ambulance… The person dies within minutes… and his friends / relatives arrive at the spot and get shocked… Had the person been admitted at the right time – right “TIME”, he would have been saved… I again emphasize – right “TIME”…
One more instance… A monetary one which every person can correlate since this one is related to stock market… Most of us have shares!!! Or atleast some of us do have…
How many of us keep waiting for the shares to increase? And make abnormal profits?
Ans : Most of us.
Is there any time limit for this?Ans : No. In my personal opinion, to quote about some of my friends who have invested in the share market, most of them wait for an unlimited amount of “TIME” and finally end up not having money in hand and get loans from banks, creditors and end up paying interest.
If we watch closely, in both the above examples, we dont realize the importance of TIME. The number of instances which can be quoted to make everyone understand the importance of TIME is mammoth; however, the entire article tries to put forth the paramount importance of time management in one’s life.
So if any of you reading this have understood the importance of time, then I request you to move forward to my next section where in I like to provide certain techniques to manage your time.
1) Plan your Day:
Time management comes into picture only if you have plans to execute. Without anything to execute, there is not much you can do with TIME. So plan your Day or month or Year properly and understand your goal first.
2) Don’t stuff you’re Basket:
Its impossible to do 1000 things in 2 hrs. Then why do we have to stuff in something which is unrealistic and end up not doing something planned. Plan your day in a realistic way. What is doable and what is that which takes more time to complete.
3) Over Doing the JOB:
Most of the times, too much of planning and over doing the job results in frustration. So allow your mind and body to get some relaxation. If you are fond of music, allot 1 hr for music or dance or whatever that triggers you to get back to the planned activity.
4) Reward Yourself:
Finally, it’s the reward which works out for human beings. Without rewards, people lose interest. Set the goals, execute them and Reward yourself. The reward might be as big as a trip to a foreign country or as small as having an ice cream at a parlor. However, the feeling of achieving and getting rewarded makes you ready for the next activity.
Finally, all the best for managing your time, since this is the most important resource in your life and you have only 24 hrs in a day!!!
